About me

I am passionate about helping you rebuild, reactivate and rediscover yourself through raising your self-awareness and shifting your mindset to a place that allows for empowerment, autonomy and authenticity.

About Me

I am an experienced, qualified counsellor who works with adults online who may be experiencing PTSD, trauma, anxiety or drug and alcohol addiction issues.

PTSD / Trauma - Is millennial trauma impacting the way you live? Have you had things happen to you in the past that are causing you to have flashbacks, unwanted or disturbing memories or images, nightmares or fear?

Anxiety - do you struggle with over-worrying, are afraid of making the 'wrong choices', or do you find yourself avoiding certain people or places?

Drug / Alcohol Addiction - Do you feel like you are in a cycle of being stuck with addiction and are struggling to break free?

I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I draw upon Psychotherapeutic approaches and tailor to meet your specific needs. I mainly use the approaches of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I have provided a safe and confidential space to clients where clients have been seen and heard. I have an understanding of South Asian cultural issues that can arise such as independence issues, anxiety, and depression. I have also worked with people from many lifestyles, ages, races and religions.

I also have experience working as an Addictions Counsellor.

How I can Help You

In a world of ever-changing movement, life can be challenging. It can be difficult to understand and navigate feelings when another voice within you is stronger than the one of your true, authentic self. In a world where everyone strives to be their true, authentic self but shows up as someone different, it can be challenging to present yourself in the right ways. It could be that you are feeling lonely, misunderstood, and unable to navigate through your difficulties, and that you seek professional help. Therapy can offer a space for you to explore your feelings, to allow you the permission to be your true, authentic self, to allow you to process and to be a stepping stone to build a new version of yourself, the best version of yourself.

I provide counselling in English and know some basic Gujarati.
