About me

I am a creative psychotherapist, integrated with gestalt therapy offering a talking therapies space for clients. The combination of creativity and gestalt allows the therapy space to be dynamic and flexible, depending on your preference to work creatively or talking on where you are at this present moment.

I have been working as a creative psychotherapist in settings such as primary, secondary and specialist schools, charities and with individuals and groups in private practice. This work has allowed me to support clients with a broad range of needs including trauma, anxiety, depression, body dysmorphia, neurodivergence, bereavement and familial addiction.

As a neurodivergent therapist I strive to create a neurodivergent affirming space for who I work with.

The values of authenticity and integrity are held clearly in my work. My invitation for my clients is to turn up as yourself, as you are. The space available is clearly delineated and structured place for your therapy process.

There is a spiritual foundation to my practice which supports life journeys, struggles and everything it is to be human.

I believe play to be supportive and intrinsic part of the therapy process. Therapy is not just about sitting and being serious. Play can be the oil to support and unlock stuckness and allow for movement and change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a drama and movement therapist in 2014 and as a clinical supervisor in 2019. I’ve worked with clients on a range of needs which includes some of the following; bereavement, depression, anxiety, personal development, identity including exploration of gender, self-harm and neurodiversity.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
