About me
I work within a Clinical Psychology practice offering appointments via secure video call to individuals, families, and young people across the UK.
We pride ourselves in offering high quality, evidence-based support that is thoughtfully tailored to your specific needs.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist providing psychological assessment and therapy for a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, OCD, and emotional or behavioural challenges in children, young people, and adults. My area of specialty is in supporting families to better understand and respond to the confusing or disruptive behaviour they are encountering and the emotional needs this may be indicating.
My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrates person centred and solution focused techniques to ensure that support is flexible, personalised, and grounded in the latest research. I am also trained in EMDR and have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
I am passionate about trauma-informed practice and creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard and understood, and able to explore your experiences within a collaborative relationship. I also have a strong interest in how early life experiences shape emotional development, and as a parent myself I enjoy working with families to support long-term wellbeing and resilience.
My clinical experience includes working across the NHS, Social Services, schools, and private practice, including roles at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the Maudsley Hospital, and Bethlem Royal Hospital, where I supported individuals, families and teams with complex psychological issues.
Alongside my clinical work, I have contributed to the training of future psychologists through teaching and supervision roles, including work with University College London (UCL).
My aim is to work collaboratively with you to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship that supports meaningful and lasting change.
I take an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies and adapting them to suit your individual needs, goals, and circumstances. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and create a clear, tailored plan for therapy.
I recognise that engaging in therapy is an investment of your time, energy, and resources, so I place great importance on ensuring that sessions feel helpful, focused, and relevant. I will regularly invite your feedback and use a range of approaches to monitor progress and ensure that we are working effectively together.
