About me
Hello and welcome, my name is Georgia, and I am an MSc qualified Pluralistic therapist. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I work with individual adults (age 18+) and offer a safe, non-judgemental and peaceful environment in the centre of Dundee.
At the centre of our work is you. As a Pluralistic counsellor I will work in collaboration with you so together we can shape our work to your needs. I have been trained in a number of therapeutic approaches to offer you different ways of working and hopefully find what works for you. Within our sessions I aim to offer as much flexibility as possible in terms of how we are working, and any changes we may need to make, always valuing your voice and your feedback.
Counselling is a space for you to think, feel, process and ultimately become empowered to make changes/ move forward in your life. You may be looking for support with experiences such as anxiety or depression or perhaps you might be looking to make sense of relationships, learn and establish coping techniques, build boundaries or develop a self-care routine. These are just some of the areas we can work together on through counselling.
In our work, my hope is for you to experience my empathic, gentle and warm approach and perhaps even share some humour along the way. From my own experiences as a client, I understand beginning or revisiting counselling can be daunting but I endeavour to make your experience of therapy as helpful (and even enjoyable!) as possible. It may at times require challenge or feel like hard work, but this is work we are doing together and I aim for you to feel fully supported every step of the way.
*Please note, I aim to respond to enquiries via email within 24 hours, please check your junk email if you have not received a reply within this timeframe. *

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
