About me

I am a qualified psychotherapist and a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and adhere to its Code of Ethics. I offer Individual Psychotherapy and Supervision in Wimbledon, South West London, online or by telephone.

Who is Psychotherapy for?

You may feel as though events in life have taken over, or you just can't quite seem to get to where you want to be in life. Repeated patterns in relationships may be causing you to feel unhappy, or you are struggling with your self-esteem and feelings of low self-worth, or you wonder where you fit amongst your peers, in society, or within your family. You may be feeling depressed, anxious, suffering as a result of grief and loss, struggling to cope with painful memories, or experiencing feelings of anger or stress. Psychotherapy can support you on your journey to emotional, social and relational wellbeing.

My approach

As a Psychotherapist, I support individuals to understand their inner world, begin a process of deepening understanding, reduce self-judgment and shame, and increase self-compassion; this creates an opportunity to change the way you see yourself, change the way you relate to others, reduce suffering and transform experiencing.

Initial consultation

You may be interested in having emotional support but not feel sure what to expect or be nervous about speaking to someone you do not know. You are almost there. To understand more about how this support might help you, get in touch to arrange an initial consultation. We can discuss your circumstances, you can get to know a little bit about me, and we can explore how we might work together.

Sessions

I offer short-term counselling or longer-term, open-ended psychotherapy. We can talk about which you would prefer during your initial consultation.

Ongoing sessions are held weekly for 50 minutes each session.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m an accredited psychotherapist offering person-centred psychotherapy, counselling and supervision. I have a Diploma and MSc in Psychotherapy and a Certificate in Supervision.

Examples of some areas of my experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist: I support people who have been experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family issues, those who are exploring issues related to culture, sexuality and gender identity, addiction, or who have experienced abuse, bereavement, low self-esteem or trauma. Contact me so that we can discuss some of the difficulties you may be experiencing, and we can have a chat about the support I may be able to offer to you.

I supervise counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults and young people.
