I am a qualified integrative counsellor, combining techniques from person centred/CBT/Psychodynamic approaches to meet the individual needs of clients.

Training, qualifications & experience
With over 16 years of professional experience in social work and recent clinical work in psychotherapeutic counselling, I bring a well-rounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to supporting individual's emotional well-being.
I have provided front-line support to vulnerable individuals throughout my career, most recently within an older people's mental health team. Additionally I have delivered trauma related counselling to clients through cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred and psychodynamic modalities.
Qualifications:
- Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling
- BSc Social Work Hons
- BSc Social Sciences Hons
I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and am governed by their ethical Framework for good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
