About us
I am a qualified counsellor and sound therapist based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
At the moment I work with adults and offer sessions online.
I support my clients from an trauma informed person-centred place and draw upon other theoretical approaches as and when required.
I have extensive training and experience in working with trauma, sexual violence, domestic abuse, grief and addictions. I previously have held positions as a counsellor through Rape Crisis and Woman's Aid.
My works comes from a place of deep empathy therefore you will feel held, safe and supported throughout the session times that we have together.
Each session will be guided by you as we will work at your pace and with whatever it is that you decide to bring to sessions.
Sessions are expectation and judgement free where you will encounter unconditional acceptance allowing you the opportunity to be your authentic self whilst working through whatever it is you feel you need.
My practice centres firmly on the belief that when we feel heard and we experience unconditional acceptance, we can overcome even the most difficult hurdles that life may put in our path.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

If you decide that it feels as though we may 'fit' then we can discuss when you would like to book in for your first session then.
If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact my through my email and I will answer you as soon as I can.
