About me

I currently run my own private practice, delivering sessions face to face and online.

The issues that I have experience working with are; anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, childhood trauma, struggles with family dynamics, work life balance, help building low self-esteem and confidence and school related issues.

The age range that I have worked with is between 5 years of age through to senior.

My core model is Person-Centred and client led, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I have a knowledge of different methods of therapy which enables me to meet my client’s needs to ensure a positive impact, including whilst working with children I adapt a creative approach.

I am friendly and approachable, offering a safe place for my clients to explore their issues without judgement. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellor and Psychotherapists (BACP) and I attend regular supervision to ensure that my quality of therapy and knowledge is up to speed.

I am kind hearted and family oriented. I love working with all my clients and genuinely care about their well- being. I love helping them find their triggers, supporting them whilst they work through their struggles and being there to support.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
