About us

Feeling overwhelmed...low...anxious?  I work with people who feel that things are getting a bit too much and want to get their lives back on track, their confidence back and their emotions understood and processed to move forward.

It can be a bit daunting looking for a therapist and finding the right match so I'll tell you a bit about how I work and the issues I work with. I work with Anxiety, low mood, self-esteem issues, grief and bereavement, relationship issues and motivation issues including making changes you want to make in your life.

I like clients to feel comfortable and to go at their own pace and I adapt my approach to what each individual person needs. I have an open discussion on what's working best for you so that we can get the most from sessions. Pluralistic therapy involves working in a client-centred way to provide a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Pluralistic counselling can also involve the psychodynamic approach where the impact of the past can be explored, and using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Techniques to look at thought patterns that can be contributing to our worries and problems. The approach we use is client led so that we can work through your issue in the way you feel works best for you.

In single session therapy, we explore an issue in one 60 minute session (more sessions available if needed) for the purposes of getting things off your chest and feeling heard, exploring possible solutions to a dilemma, working towards getting unstuck or gaining understanding of a problem.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds, offering a safe and non judgemental space to work through your issues safely. I am also Neurodiversity friendly and am able to adapt sessions as required.
