About me

Hello and welcome.

You may be here because things feel difficult right now for you or your child. Maybe struggling with anxiety, low mood, OCD, trauma, or the everyday challenges that can come with being neurodivergent, such as Autism or ADHD. It might be that school feels overwhelming, friendships are tricky to navigate, or emotions feel too big to manage. Perhaps you're seeking support that addresses the root of the issue, not just a temporary fix. If so, you are in the right place.

Many of the people I work with come to me feeling exhausted, confused, or stuck. They want to feel more in control, more understood, and more hopeful. My role is to offer a safe and thoughtful space where we can begin to make sense of what's going on, together.

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 25. I also support neurodiverse adults, depending on the situation and need.

I offer both therapy and specialist assessment, depending on what feels most helpful. Therapeutically, I draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), always tailoring my work to each individual. I also offer a range of specialist and diagnostic assessments to provide clarity, understanding, and a way forward.

Above all, my approach is warm, flexible, and collaborative. I believe in meeting adults, young people and families where they are with compassion, curiosity, and care. My hope is that through our work together, you feel not only understood, but empowered with the clarity, tools, and confidence to move forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

I bring over a decade of experience across both NHS and independent settings, offering compassionate and evidence-based care. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Exeter and am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) a designation that reflects the highest standard of psychological knowledge and expertise. I am also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

My specialist training includes autism and cognitive assessments, alongside therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am committed to ongoing learning and regularly engage in continuing professional development to deepen my understanding and ensure the support I offer remains thoughtful, evidence-based, and attuned to each individual’s needs.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Further information

Reaching out for support is a meaningful step, and it’s okay to have questions along the way. Whether you're considering therapy or a specialist assessment, I offer a calm, supportive space where we can think together about what might help.

If you feel I might be a good fit for you or your child, you're very welcome to book a free initial conversation. It’s a chance to talk things through and decide whether working together feels right.

You can also visit my website to learn more about my approach, services, and find helpful resources. I’d be happy to hear from you when the time feels right.
