About me
As an experienced and compassionate Integrative counsellor, I specialise in offering a holistic approach to therapy, blending a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client. My practice integrates techniques from person-centred therapy, CBT, psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness, providing a comprehensive, adaptable, and client-focused treatment.
With a deep understanding of how emotional, psychological, and physical health are interconnected, I work collaboratively with adult clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours, helping them gain deeper insight and develop healthier coping strategies. Whether navigating issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, addiction, or personal development, my goal is to empower clients to make meaningful changes and improve their overall well-being.
I am committed to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, respected, and supported. With a strong belief in the therapeutic process, I encourage personal growth, self-awareness, and resilience, while tailoring each session to meet the specific goals and needs of the individual.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a FdSc qualified and BACP registered Integrative counsellor, I continue to engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest therapeutic practices and research, ensuring the highest standard of care for all my clients.
NHS; I provided short-term, solution-focused counselling to individuals. I helped clients manage issues like anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties, ensuring a supportive and confidential environment for their healing process.
Women’s Support Centre; I focused on providing one-to-one counselling to support women experiencing domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other trauma-related issues.
RASASC; I provided sensitive and trauma-informed counselling to individuals who have experienced sexual violence or abuse. I created a safe space for survivors to process their emotions, address complex trauma, and develop coping strategies.
HM Prison Service; In my counselling role within the prison service, I specialise in addiction recovery, providing essential support to clients struggling with alcohol and substance use disorders. My work focuses on helping clients address the underlying psychological, emotional, and behavioural factors contributing to their addiction.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
