About me
Welcome to my profile. I specialise in Anxiety disorders and can support you in finding ways to cope. I achieve this by teaching you emotional regulation techniques to help you find inner calm. Anxiety does not have to control your life.
As an experienced counsellor of 18 years, I also offer therapy for depression, trauma and feelings around many of life's challenges. You do not need to struggle alone and I am here to offer you a regular 1-hour confidential space where you can explore your feelings, gain clarity and discover your inner strength.
Maybe a different perspective can be achieved by talking through the difficulties, which can change how you feel. It may be a reflection of low self-esteem, which can impact your view on life, so you can explore and achieve a deeper self-awareness to enable you to build resilience, face challenges, and feel stronger.
Whatever the problem, be it anxiety, stress, low mood and depression, relationships, family, workplace or some challenging system in which you are trying to cope, the solution is always within yourself. You may even want to seek personal growth and development, and counselling is an excellent way to learn more about yourself. Together we will explore your thoughts and feelings, identify underlying patterns and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with confidence and resilience.
As a dedicated counsellor, my mission is to empower individuals like you to overcome obstacles and thrive. I provide personalised counselling sessions tailored to your unique needs and goals, drawing on a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches and Transactional Analysis therapy. I will work with you to foster insight and promote positive change.
I offer an initial free 15-minute phone consultation. From here, we can arrange an appointment, be it face-to-face, online, via Zoom or by telephone. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
