About me
Hello, my name is Edward. I'm a qualified Counsellor & member of the BACP, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work in Warrington, & I offer face-to-face sessions in Lymm. My Therapeutic approach is Person-centred.
My aim is to offer a Holistic approach to all I will work with, offering Empathic Understanding, Congruence & Unconditional Positive Regard to better understand the experiences you're facing, welcoming you into a safe & Non-Judgemental space where you take the lead, picking what we'll explore. You decide the direction & focus of your Client sessions.
There are no guarantees with therapy; I may not be able to provide solutions towards your presenting issues, but I'm invested in assisting you through your Healing journey. Together we can delve into the root of these issues to help you recognize & better understand the deeper meaning's behind them.
I offer Initial consultations. They're a vital part of our counselling experience. The initial meeting is an ideal opportunity where you can ask me any questions & raise any concerns you may have. The initial consultation will take approx. 15-to-20 minutes. Together we'll explore what you want from counselling & if you & I feel both that the type of counselling I offer could be an ideal fit with your needs. We can conduct the Initial Consultation in your preferred method of contact- by phone call, text message, or email.
There will be no charge for the Initial Consultations.
Available counselling appointments are Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
