I am an experienced Counsellor who specialises in depression, anxiety and trauma.
My aim is to provide a safe place in order that you are able for work through your presenting issues. In order to achieve this I offer both short and long term support in accordance with your individual needs. I work with my clients in order to deliver support that reflects their individual needs.
Since qualifying I have worked for Anxiety UK where I learnt the advantages of short term interventions. I now work voluntarily for RASASC (Rape and Sexual Assault Support Centre) as well as in a paid position for a charity who provide counselling for young people. These different experiences have enabled me to develop a wider understanding of the benefits of different approaches as well as the different needs that people can present with, which I aim to bring into my private work. This work has also provided me with the opportunity to attend different training in order to build on my knowledge.
