About me
Hello, I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. Are you looking for a space to express what you are experiencing, without being judged. I offer a safe, confidential space for clients to bring the problems, struggles and challenges they are experiencing including abuse, anger, anxiety & stress, addiction, depression, relationship including infidelity, low self esteem/ self-confidence & workplace issues. We can work together on a short, medium or long term basis.
Clients I see come to counselling for many reasons, these include:
- to explore their thoughts and feelings around emotions they are experiencing, such as feeling overwhelmed, depressed, sad, anxious or stressed.
- to clarify, gain or increase awareness of specific difficulties they are noticing have a negative impact on their lives.
- to reflect and start to understand unhelpful patterns of thoughts, feelings and/ or behaviours, with a view to finding a new pathway to a more satisfying way of being in the world.
Many clients express that the decision to start counselling can be daunting. Together we will aim to develop a relationship in an environment you can trust, that is safe and non judgemental, where you feel able to express what is important to you in a compassionate, confidential space.
I have an integrative and humanistic approach to the counselling I provide. This means that I will use tools, theories or concepts in a way that is beneficial and relevant to what you are experiencing. Through listening and gaining an understanding of you and your circumstances I will endeavour to be both supportive and at times challenging by providing opportunities for us to explore your thoughts, feelings or behaviours, from different perspectives.
If you would like to explore the opportunity to start counselling with me or just want to get some more information please do book an introductory call or if you prefer contact me directly via either telephone, email or through my website.
