About me
If you're here, perhaps something is becoming more difficult for you to cope with. You may appear to be coping and managing on the outside, but inside feels anxious, low, numb, worn down. You might feel stuck, trapped in your thoughts, hard on yourself, or unsure why certain reactions or patterns keep repeating.
You may also be living with the effects of earlier experiences. For some people, this includes difficult childhood experiences, trauma or periods in life where they have had to cope without enough support. Even when these events are in the past, their impact can still be felt - in mood, relationships, confidence, or how safe the world feels.
Do you:
- feel low, flat, or disconnected from yourself or others?
- live with anxiety, constant tension, or emotional overwhelm?
- struggle with self criticism, shame, or feeling "not good enough"?
- notice strong emotional or behavioural reactions you can't control or don't always make sense?
- feel affected by past experiences you've never fully had the space to explore?
- feel stuck in familiar relationship patterns?
You don't need a diagnosis or a clear explanation to start therapy. Counselling can begin with what you're noticing right now.
I offer counselling for individuals in a clam, confidential, non-judgemental space. We work at a pace that feels manageable, with attention to safety, trust, and understanding. My approach is integrative and collaborative - shaped around you, rather than any fixed agenda.
I also work with couples who are struggling with communication, conflict, emotional distance, trust issues, or the impact of difficult or significant life events. Couples counselling offers a space to slow things down, understand what is happening between you, and explore whether new ways of relating are possible - without blame.
I'm a qualified National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. Sessions are available at my practices in either Surbiton or St Margaret's (Twickenham), as well as online across the UK.
If any of the above sounds like you, you're welcome to get in touch - even if you're not sure what to say. We can start with a conversation.
