About me
If this feels familiar
You might be feeling overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, struggling with confidence, or simply feeling stuck and unsure where to start. Perhaps your mind won't switch off at night, or there's a nagging, critical voice telling you you're not doing enough or you're not good enough. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. Sometimes, having the space to slow down and talk things through can be the first step towards understanding what you need.
How we can work together
You can talk openly about what's troubling you, without fear of judgement. We'll work together to understand what's keeping you stuck and what you'd like to change. Sometimes that may involve gently challenging the way you see yourself or a situation, helping you consider a different perspective and make changes that feel right for you.
A little about me
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 20 years working in hospitality, much of that time in leadership and management roles. Working in a fast-paced, demanding environment gave me a real understanding of what it can be like to carry responsibility, manage high expectations and keep everything going, even when you're running on empty. It also showed me how easily pressure at work can spill over into our wellbeing, relationships and life outside work.
What I've learned from counselling
My own experience of counselling showed me the difference it can make to have someone alongside you while you make sense of things. It helped me understand myself differently and find a way forward, and that's something I hope to offer my clients too. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or have simply reached a point where things don't feel quite right, we'll work at a pace that feels manageable and focus on what matters most to you.
Taking the first step
I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is the foundation for meaningful change. That’s why I offer a free introductory call — a chance to talk about what’s bringing you to counselling, what you’d like to change, and whether we feel like a good fit. If you’re ready to take the first step, send me an email/text or book an introductory call and let’s talk

Further information
I offer both short- and longer-term therapy, depending on what you need. We can focus on what’s happening for you now and explore practical ways to make things feel more manageable, while also looking at deeper patterns or past experiences when this feels helpful.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, so we’ll regularly check in about how you’re finding the process and whether the work feels right for you. We’ll usually begin with an agreed number of sessions and then take some time to reflect on how things are going and what you’d like to do next.
