About me
General Information
I offer online counselling for adults in a warm, thoughtful and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what you are going through and explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. My approach is person-centred, which means I work alongside you with empathy, care and curiosity, supporting you to make sense of what feels difficult and to develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
I work with adults who may be struggling in relationships, going through separation or divorce, facing challenges within their family, or feeling overwhelmed by grief, loss or change. I also support people struggling with low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck, uncertain or disconnected. Some people come to therapy wanting to understand why the same difficulties keep coming up in their lives or relationships, and for some this may include exploring early experiences and inner child work.
Personal Introduction
Many people come to therapy after spending a long time holding everything together on the outside while struggling internally. You may be used to caring for others, carrying responsibilities, or putting your own needs aside. You may not even have clear words yet for what you are feeling - only a sense that something does not feel right.
Therapy can offer a space where you do not have to carry everything alone. I aim to provide a therapeutic space where you feel heard, accepted and supported. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you explore what is happening in your life, what may be contributing to your difficulties, and what may help you move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.
With nearly ten years of experience, I have worked within charity organisations and school settings, including primary and secondary schools, and have facilitated therapeutic group work across London, Surrey, Kent and West Sussex. I currently work online with adults.
I offer counselling in both English and Portuguese and welcome people from a range of backgrounds and life experiences.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training, Qualifications and Experience
My work is grounded in a person-centred approach and shaped by a holistic understanding of emotional wellbeing and human development. I believe therapy should respond to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into a set model or process.
I am a qualified Transpersonal Arts Counsellor. Alongside talking therapy, I may gently draw on creative and reflective ways of working where these feel supportive and appropriate. I am interested in the wider context of your experiences, including your relationships, emotional responses, early life experiences, and sense of identity.
Sometimes the difficulties we face in the present are connected to earlier experiences, unmet needs, or ways of coping that once helped us but no longer feel helpful. Where it feels right, we can explore these areas together, including inner child work, to support greater awareness, emotional understanding and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
I am a member of the BACP and hold professional insurance.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I offer a free 15-minute introductory video or telephone call. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, briefly share what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
Practical Details
Sessions are offered online via a secure video platform, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available on weekdays, with some evening and weekend appointments also available.
Some people come to therapy with a clear issue they want to work on, while others arrive with a more general sense of feeling lost, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unlike themselves. You do not need to have everything worked out before coming to therapy. We can begin with where you are and what feels most important to you.
My approach is gentle, reflective and supportive. I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, offering a space where you can bring difficult feelings, relationship struggles, confusion or questions about yourself without fear of judgment.
My hope is that therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and better able to move through life and relationships with greater clarity and self-compassion.
