About me
I am an accredited Counsellor & Psychotherapist - Registered Member MBACP (Accred)
I currently work online only.
Perhaps you are experiencing repeated patterns of behaviour, negative thinking or relational challenges that are not serving you well.
Perhaps you have experienced a bereavement or difficult and painful experiences from the past are re-surfacing and you’d like to work through them with a professional to make positive change.
I believe taking care of our mental health and wellbeing is one of the most important gifts we can give ourselves. The space I offer is welcoming, safe, confidential and non judgmental. It is a place where together we will explore what is troubling you. Voicing, untangling and making sense of how you feel with a qualified professional can enable clarity in a number of areas such as increased self understanding; gaining clarity around what you want and need from your relationships and how you wish to be treated; making decisions; learning how to manage and cope with certain triggers; changing core beliefs and life scripts that can lead to a better relationship with yourself and others.
I regularly work with:
- Bereavement & loss
- Relational challenges with partners, family members, friendships and more systemic relational problems
- Anxiety
- Lack of confidence and low self esteem
- Depression & low mood
- Stress
I offer both open-ended and fixed term counselling. Open ended means we can work together for as long as you feel you need counselling, or until we mutually decide we have gone as far as we can go. Fixed term means we can agree a fixed amount of sessions at the start. The aim of both is to give you the space you need, and the time to talk.
Following your initial enquiry, we would have a free initial 15-20 minute conversation either online or by phone so that I can understand what you are seeking counselling for, and consider whether I feel I could be the right therapist for you. If this could be the case, we would then meet for a 50 minute initial assessment to discuss more about you, along with your expectations of therapy. I will also explain how I work as a therapist and the service that I offer. This is a no obligation meeting for both of us. My fee for the initial consultation is £65. If we decide to move forward together we will discuss next steps and set up our first session.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
