About me
Hello and a warm welcome. I'm Claire, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who is passionate about helping people make positive changes in their lives. I understand the impact mental health challenges can have on your quality of life, and at times this can feel frightening and overwhelming.
I offer a safe and accepting space, where you will feel supported as I help you navigate and overcome any emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges. I use CBT to help you explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, as well as identifying patterns that might be preventing you from breaking the unhelpful cycle.
I have a collaborative approach to therapy, and so whilst I use established CBT practices, I tailor my therapy to meet the needs of each client. This means, I’ll work with you to understand where you want to be by the end of therapy and help you create the right environment to get you there.
From our first session, I’ll introduce you to strategies you can start using right away. And the tools we use throughout the sessions can be applied outside of the therapy room, so you’ll develop skills that will continue to support you after therapy has ended.
If you would like to understand more about how we can work together, please get in touch to book a session or arrange an initial free no obligation 15-minute chat.
