About me

When was the last time you gave yourself space?

Space to think.
Space to breathe.
Space to understand what’s really going on for you.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Your mind might feel full, noisy, or stuck in loops that are hard to make sense of.

You may find yourself reacting, coping, pushing through… without ever having the time to pause and reflect.

To ask yourself:
How am I actually feeling?
What do I need?
What’s really happening beneath all of this?

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever is going on for you, at your own pace.

Whether you’re struggling with relationships, work stress, anxiety, panic, low mood, trauma, anger, self-esteem, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you… We can work through it together.

Sometimes emotional pain can feel overwhelming, even paralysing. Like something you should be able to manage, but can’t quite shift.

If that resonates, you’re not alone.

Therapy can help you make sense of your experiences, develop clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a more compassionate and empowering way.

Together, we will gently explore your thoughts and feelings, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build a deeper understanding of who you are and what you need.

Everything we do will be led by you, and at a pace that feels right for you.

I am a counsellor, trainer, and supervisor with over 20 years of experience, working with individuals, groups, and organisations across the corporate sector, NHS, education, social care, and safeguarding services.

I believe that when we feel truly heard and understood, change becomes possible.

Because with understanding comes awareness.
With awareness comes choice.
And with choice comes the power to change.

If you're ready to take that first step, I'm happy to discuss how we can work together.

Best wishes,
Claire

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
