About me

Welcome, I am Claire. This profile will tell you a little bit about me and how I work, if you have any questions please contact me or click on my website for more information.

We are all unique and present a different range of issues requiring highly tailored therapy. I am a UKCP accredited,  Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor trained to a master’s level. I work in a relational, humanistic way  to support you in working out the changes you are seeking, offering awareness and understanding to create a better relationship with ourselves and others. I have limited availability within my private practice, where I work offering  long and short term therapy with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, feeling lost or overwhelmed, childhood issues. trauma, relationship issues,  sexuality and gender identity,  and grief.

I offer a range of therapeutic interventions, offering healing and growth to an extensive range of clients in a relaxed, professional environment where you can explore and learn about yourself, understand your thinking, feelings, and behaviours in relation to your here and now problems.

Sometimes, throughout life, we can experience events that leave a lasting impact on our way of being in the world. and can leave us with: self-sabotaging behaviours, unhealthy coping mechanisms, low self-esteem and self-criticism, catastrophising, in unhealthy relationships. Therapy offers time and space to explore why we feel compelled to repeat these patterns of a lifetime creating awareness of our core beliefs and critical voice in our heads.

I support and have a deep understanding and respect for sexuality, gender identity, transitioning and working with the LGBTQ+ community.

Finding the right therapist is important and so the free brief initial consultation is designed to see how it feels being together. I invite you to contact me by email, text, or phone to begin our therapeutic journey together.  I work face-to-face in a welcoming, safe space in Mansfield NG18 ( with parking facilities),  I am also continuing to offer online and telephone sessions.
