About me
I am someone who can help you with past hurts and pains, that haunt you. To help understand strong emotions. To find who you really are and provide emotional support. Trauma Treatment within the Three Phased recovery model. To explore difficult and complex relationships.
Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Christian and I am a professional and experienced counsellor. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Membership No. 749580 and have been qualified since 2015.
I am a qualified and experienced Trauma focused/Informed counsellor as well as a CBT Practitioner. I work well with all mental health conditions regardless of how complex they may seem, which include Complex PTSD, Dissociative disorders, Bi-Polar, ADHD & Nuero Diversity, Anxiety, Depression and Panic Attacks.
I specialise in working with Trauma, Abuse, Grief/Loss and addiction issues through working with the Trauma recovery model, which includes the three phased model.
Through my continuous learning throughout my counselling career, I have also gained a wide range of experience in working with dissociative disorders including DID and flashbacks.
Most people in their lifetime have experienced some sort of Trauma, hurt or pain they walk around with this hidden and generally keep this hidden to themselves for most of their lifetime. They hide this pain away from the rest of the world, but live with it in secret to themselves, walking around with this pain and misery which can keep them in turmoil for many years. it is when they are on their own that they get a true sense of how much it hurts and how it impacts their life.
Is it time to stop suffering and hurting from those past experiences and events in your lifetime?
Life can be difficult enough without those trauma's in your life. It can also present events and experiences that can stay with you forever.
I understand that it can take a lot of faith and courage to be able to walk through these events with someone else. I know that this can be a difficult and even sometimes feel like an impossible task.
I offer a safe space where you can heal, grow and change from such events in your lifetime. A space where we can try to find that calm and quiet place within. I believe that we all have the potential to find that calm and safe space within ourselves regardless of what pain we are carrying around with us.
I have a wide range of knowledge and understanding, and with that comes a continued growth of experience.
I have also experienced such events in my life where I have been through a similar process where I sat with a counsellor to find that quiet place within.
I have also worked in various fields including mental health agencies, drug & alcohol addiction services, and trauma and abuse charities, and I have also worked with a lot of bereavement and grief.
I have also had experience working with LGBTQIA+.
One of my recent roles allowed me to work directly with victims and survivors of physical, psychological and emotional abuse through a Modern-day slavery and trafficking charity which gave me first-hand experience in this area.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
