About me
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with NCPS accreditation, with a special interest in supporting adults facing challenges related to anxiety and OCD. I trained at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in London and specialise in REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy), a type of CBT.
My ultimate aim is to help you identify and challenge irrational thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours that may be holding you back, guiding you towards more constructive and rational perspectives.
With my warm, down-to-earth and compassionate approach, I will help you to have a better awareness of what you are struggling with and help you to explore what is keeping you stuck in your problem and preventing you from moving forward in your life. I will help you be where you want to be, and support you in achieving your goals.
I bring a unique perspective to my practice, as I have personally experienced the challenges of living with both anxiety and OCD. This firsthand understanding allows me to genuinely emphasise with the struggles associated with anxiety - whether the symptoms, intrusive thoughts, negative thinking patterns, or behaviours.
Additionally, I have extensive experience supporting adults facing issues such as anger management, depression, health anxiety, social anxiety, procrastination, low self-esteem and confidence, along with emotional problems such as guilt, shame, jealousy, hurt and envy.
I understand that reaching out for help can feel a little daunting. However, no matter what you are dealing with, I will meet you where you are right now, with my aim to help you gain control, make positive changes in your thinking and behaviours and help you develop a lasting toolkit that brings balance and happiness in a healthier and more fulfilling life.
