About me

Like roller coasters, life is full of ups and downs experiences that sometimes make us feel overwhelmed with sadness, confusion, frustration, anger and/or scared feelings. Sometimes those feelings and emotions have their roots in our childhood experiences and early life and they will lead to unhelpful patterns of behaviours that will affect negatively our adult lives like our relationship with our family, friends and love ones as well as our professional life making us struggle to cope with the stress at work.

Sometimes you just need to talk with someone to regain your inner peace in a safe and non-judgmental environment. If you find it difficult to come to terms after a relationship breakdown, bereavement, loss, facing new challenges or you are currently facing low self-esteem, shame/guilt, anxiety, depression I am offering you a warm, welcoming and confidential space where we can explore all your concerns that troubles you day to day. Talking therapy can help you to bring into your life a sense of self-awareness that will contribute to your journey into a more resilient life. My role will not be to advise you what to do but I will facilitate your growth through your self-discovery. We will work together.

My approach and fees

I am a qualified integrative counsellor meaning that I work by combining different psychotherapy theories and tools that will help me to tailor each client’s unique needs. I strongly believe that we are all born with inner resource for growth and healing ourselves but sometimes we need professional support to identify unhealthy patterns of thinking, beliefs and behaviours in order to manage more effectively the day to day challenges.

I am based in Hampton but I am able to offer you all counselling sessions online (via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp etc) or on the phone at present. This means I can offer you counselling wherever you live. When rules permit I will also be able to offer face to face counselling.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
