About me
My approach is warm, relational, and deeply respectful of your pace. You don’t need to arrive with the right words — simply bringing yourself as you are, is enough.
Many of the people who come to me describe feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. On the outside they may appear capable and high‑functioning, yet inside they’re carrying tension, self‑doubt, or a sense that something isn’t quite right. You might recognise this in yourself — a tightness in the body, a racing mind, or a feeling of being stuck in familiar patterns, like pleasing others, that you can’t seem to shift. Other people come seeking help for a specific trauma (present or past), adverse childhood experiences, relationship challenges/breakdown or life transitions.
I will work with you to help you bring clarity to your situation and explore new ways of dealing with troubling issues and limiting self-beliefs, so you can relate to yourself and other people in a more open way.
How I Work
My practice is rooted in humanistic therapy, which means I see you as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms. Therapy with me is collaborative and empathic. I don’t analyse from a distance — we work side by side, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I integrate somatic therapy, trauma‑informed practice, and relational depth to support you in understanding not only what you’re feeling, but how those feelings live in your body.
I am an accredited yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and have been practicing yoga for over 30 years and teaching for 15. I use some tools, such as breath awareness, grounding and relaxation techniques to help clients learn how to settle their nervous system and regulate better.
I offer face-to-face long-term psychotherapy to support deep inner change and short-term counselling to help you cope with specific issues, meeting in-person in the Notting Hill and Bayswater area, within easy reach of, Westbourne Grove, Paddington, Kensington, Holland Park and Maida Vale.
I also work online via Zoom.
It can feel strange and daunting starting therapy but it's also the gateway to change, growth, and importantly, the support that makes you feel less alone. If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to contact me for a free 15‑minute phone consultation. It’s a gentle way to get a sense of me, ask any questions, and explore whether this feels like the right fit for you. I usually respond within 24 hours.
I am fully insured to practice and am a registered member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and follow their professional code of ethics.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
