About me
I’m a qualified integrative counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering therapy in-person and online. I have over ten years’ experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of trauma and abuse.
I specialise in working with women and have a particular interest in how our mental health is shaped by life experiences, identity, and the emotional demands placed on us — especially around motherhood, caregiving, and recovery from coercive or controlling relationships.
My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I draw from a range of therapeutic models, including psychodynamic, person-centred, trauma-informed, and attachment-based theory, adapting my work to suit your unique needs. I aim to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, untangle past experiences, and move toward greater clarity and emotional wellbeing.
Alongside my private practice, I work with a specialist domestic abuse organisation providing therapy to women impacted by abuse. I’ve also supported clients in IAPT services, crisis pregnancy centres, and community-based counselling settings. I’m committed to ethical, inclusive, and reflective practice and regularly engage in supervision and CPD.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin, therapy can offer a space to feel heard, understood, and supported — without judgement. You’re welcome to get in touch if you’d like to find out more or arrange an initial session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre in London, one of the UK’s leading training institutions for counselling and psychotherapy.
In addition to my private practice, I currently work for a domestic abuse organisation, providing therapy to women who have experienced abuse and coercive control. I have also previously worked for a Pregnancy Crisis Centre, supporting women around pregnancy loss, abortion, and postnatal depression.
I have experience providing both short-term and long-term therapy and have worked in a range of settings, including IAPT services, community counselling, and specialist women’s organisations.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
