Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Client Testimonials-
"I found therapy with Camilla extremely helpful and transformative. She helped me to cultivate more self-compassion, which I historically have really struggled with, and this has had a positive impact on my romantic relationship as well as my general life. Even though I have paused therapy for now, I still use tools that I learnt with Camilla to help myself out on more emotionally challenging days. I would 100% recommend working with Camilla; she's a fantastic, empathetic and very knowledgeable therapist!"
“I was apprehensive about attending counselling for my anxiety following the end of a long-term relationship, however Camilla made me feel at ease in sessions and helped me understand the root causes of my worries and how to change my mindset..I have been able to use the techniques we established in numerous aspects of my life and my self-confidence has grown enormously. I would have no hesitation in recommending Camilla, she is empathetic, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable!”
"I worked with Camilla over some really tricky relationship and family issues; she was supportive but also gave me a tool kit to use when needed. My sessions with her changed my inner monologue, which in turn minimised my low mood and anxiety. I’d highly recommend Camilla to anyone who wants both an understanding listener and a therapist who is going to guide you through the work."
"I entered therapy feeling hopeless and struggling with chronic, long-term mental health difficulties. I felt very apprehensive about selecting a therapist and engaging with therapy, as I believed I was too far gone to receive help. I am so grateful that I chose to work with Camilla. We worked together for just over a year, and it was genuinely transformative for me. She helped me to address the symptoms I was struggling with, as well as engage with my story from a holistic perspective. I would definitely recommend working with Camilla as she is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate"
