About me
My name is Dr Ashley Goff and I'm a Chartered Psychologist in private practice in Windsor. I'm an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Scientist registered with the Science Council. I have over 15 years of experience as a Psychologist within the NHS and I also work as a sessional lecturer in Psychology at the University of Oxford and University of London. I’m a warm and empathic therapist who strives to create a trusting and genuinely caring relationship with clients. I draw on NICE guidance to inform my therapy, but also work collaboratively to find an approach tailored to individual needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-focussed therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I use these models to help you understand and overcome difficult experiences.
Whether you're affected by everyday stresses / life events or clinical-level problems, I can provide a confidential and compassionate space for you to gain insight into your difficulties and achieve your goals. Please feel free to contact me for an initial discussion.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
