About me

Master's-Level Person-Centred, Experiential and Integrative Psychotherapist | Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, & Couples Therapy

I am a Master's-level psychotherapist specialising in Person-Centred and Experiential therapy, utilizing an integrative framework to work with trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex relational dynamics. My practice provides an inclusive, neurodiversity- and LGBTQ+ affirmative environment for individuals and couples seeking depth, clarity, and lasting change.

Our sessions shift the focus away from clinical labels and quick, external fixes, choosing instead to slow down and stay with your immediate, lived emotional experience. By tracking how feelings reveal themselves in the present moment, we can safely untangle the underlying patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and the world around you.

In individual therapy, we look closely at how past experiences and attachment styles influence your current well-being. Together, we work to recognize recurring emotional traps, building your internal capacity for self-regulation, grounding, and enduring self-understanding.

In couples therapy, we shift the focus to the live relational dynamic occurring between you and your partner. Instead of getting lost in the content of an argument, we slow down the moments of conflict, withdrawal, or emotional disconnection. This allows us to map the experiential cycle itself, providing the clarity needed to repair trust, improve communication, and safely navigate major relationship transitions.

Training, qualifications & experience

My clinical practice is anchored by strong academic training, certified remote-work competencies, and a collaborative, relational framework:

Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP Accredited Course)
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology (British Psychological Society / BPS Recognised)
Certificate in Telephone and Online Counselling Theory and Skills Practice (BACP Recognised Course) [1]

This grounding is structurally rooted in Person-Centred and Experiential values, ensuring that empathy, authenticity, and profound acceptance form the operational baseline of our relationship. From this core, I integrate advanced psychological frameworks, trauma-informed methodologies, and attachment theory - allowing the therapy to adapt fluidly to your specific needs rather than forcing your experience into a rigid model.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
