About me
Welcome – I'm glad you are here
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it's completely natural to seek support when things become difficult. You may be facing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, painful memories, or simply feeling stuck, whatever you are going through, you are not alone, and support is available.
I’m an MBACP Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor, with extensive experience working with both adults and young people (aged 12 and up). I offer short- and long-term counselling, depending on what feels right for you, and provide sessions in-person, online, or over the phone, whichever is most accessible and comfortable.
As an Integrative Counsellor with a person-centred approach, I tailor each session to your individual needs, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can safely explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and goals. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and move forward with the right support.
Counselling is an investment in yourself, it can help you gain clarity, develop greater self-understanding, and empower you to make meaningful changes in your life. Together, we can begin to explore what's holding you back and move toward the version of life you want to be living.
If you would like to find out more, I offer a free initial telephone consultation where you can ask questions and see how it feels to take the next step.
Whatever you are facing, I’m here to help, and I look forward to hearing from you.

I am a fully-qualified counsellor and an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This membership means that I adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework for The Counselling Professions, ensuring that I maintain professional and ethical standards in my practice.
For a number of years, I have utilised these qualifications and worked in various settings, including private practice, agency environments, and secondary schools. This diverse experience has allowed me to engage in both long-term and short-term counselling with adults and young people, further enhancing my expertise and understanding of different client needs.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
The fee for each counselling session is £60, and payment is required through a bank transfer at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
To help both of us determine if working together would be beneficial, I offer an initial 10-15 minute phone consultation at no charge.
Typically, we meet on a weekly basis, with each session lasting for fifty minutes. The duration of the therapy is entirely up to you. We can agree on an initial number of sessions, and then periodically assess how things are progressing to determine if additional sessions would be beneficial. You also have the freedom to end counselling at any time according to your needs and preferences.
