About me

Sometimes we find ourselves in difficult situations where we struggle to cope or move on. Sometimes we feel that something isn’t quite right in our lives and needs to change.

Anxiety and depression are increasingly wide spread issues in society, and negative feelings can be caused by many different factors in our lives and upbringings. Talking to an experienced professional can help you to think more clearly and make the changes you need to move on and enjoy your life. I want to help you live the life you want to live, and feel content and comfortable in your own mind. Together we will explore you: your life, your thoughts, your feelings and where you want to be in the future.

I am an NCPS accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with many years of experience working with a diverse range of issues. I understand that deciding to have counselling can be daunting. I offer a friendly and relaxed environment where my clients are given the chance to talk openly and honestly about the issues that are affecting their lives. I passionately believe that Counselling and Psychotherapy really can change your life for the better. All you have to do is take the first step.

I work with clients using an integrative approach. This means I am trained in a variety of psychotherapeutic models, (please see below). I do not believe that one approach fits all, and I tailor sessions to suit each client and their specific issues.

People contact me from all over the UK and Ireland. I offer one-to-one sessions via traditional face-to-face, Skype, FaceTime, or email. Please contact me today to arrange a free consultation, or just ask me a question. All enquiries are welcome. Alternatively, you can look at my website to find out more about me and what I do.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited member of The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, which means I adhere to their ethical guidelines for maintaining competent, ethical practice. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend training workshops and supervision. Previously I have worked with Samaritans and CASY (Counselling And Support for Young People and Parents). I now run my own private practice, Clear Mind Therapy.
