Hello! My name is Andrea, welcome and thank you for choosing to look at my profile.
I am qualified as a Registered Nurse and have worked within the NHS and private sector for over 30 years. As a natural progression, I decided to train as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist.
I provide a one to one therapeutic service, in which my clients will feel safe, relaxed and supported. The idea is so that you are able to take control of your own thinking and behaviour. The therapy will always be personalised and tailored to support you through the process of acceptance and change.
During the process, I will ensure trust, dignity, respect and confidentiality are maintained. It is your time to choose what you would like to talk about. I will offer you the opportunity to do so at your own pace.

Training, qualifications & experience
My professional background is in the Health Care Service as a Registered Nurse. With a wide range of knowledge regarding health and wellbeing. I have gained an invaluable amount of life`s experience both personal and professional. This has definitely equipped me to be more aware of individual differences, in terms of dealing with life-changing events, individuals feelings and emotions and to be able to accept each person as they are.
- Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy(Dip CP)
- Clinical Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills.
- Licentiate Member (Dip Hip),
- Advanced level Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
These courses have received accreditation by the Royal College of Nursing. (RCN).
My experience also includes volunteering at an Adult mental Health Drop-in Centre, talking with clients with varying degree of mental health issues, which is an invaluable experience.
I hold professional indemnity insurance covered by the Royal College of Nursing/Holwden Insurance Brokers.
I also receive Supervision from a qualified Supervisor.
I maintain my practise by attending regular Continuous Professional Development courses (CPDs) and workshops.

Client/Therapist relationship is central in the therapeutic process, which is the reason I will provide a free no-obligation 30 mins session.
This is to ensure we are able to understand each other and work together for a positive outcome.
If you wish to continue to see me for therapy, my fees are between £50 - £55 depending on appointment time. Please contact me for further details.
I also offer Skype sessions, which is £25 for a 30-minute session, or £35 for a 50-minute session.
My services are for individuals from all walks of life. However if there any special needs this can be discussed prior to a booked session.
