Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Social Worker and Play Therapist with over 25 years’ experience supporting children, young people, adults and families.
I hold an MA in Non-Directive Play Therapy from the University of York and have extensive experience working in child protection, adoption, fostering and therapeutic services. My additional training includes Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Filial Therapy, CBT-informed approaches and trauma-informed practice.
I use an integrative, person-centred approach, drawing on my knowledge, training and experience to tailor support to each individual's needs. Throughout my career, I have worked with people facing a wide range of emotional, relational and life challenges, helping them feel understood, supported and empowered to make positive changes.
