About me

My goal is to provide a space for those who feel abandoned and unsupported in their mental health struggles. We can work together to support you in achieving your goals.
You will experience a secure, empathetic, and encouraging environment where you can openly discuss your present difficulties, including your thoughts, feelings, and emotions that have affected your mental well-being. It can be life-changing to have the chance to vent, be genuinely heard, and be listened to in a non-judgmental setting. To respect your requirements and keep you at the centre of your therapeutic journey, I offer an integrative way of working with clients.  An integrative approach means I will be able to support you in a way that is tailored to your unique needs as a client and I can collaboratively work within your capabilities in each of our counselling sessions.

Through my practice at "Talk To Heal Therapy", I also offer a free 30 minute initial consultation/introductory call whereby we discuss what is at present causing your distresses, identify goals/expectations of therapy and a chance to understand how I work and what therapy may look like together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a plethora of experience (over 6 years) supporting adults with various mental health difficulties and distress. I am a fully qualified therapist in the UK with the relevant qualifications as well as pursuing a Masters to advance my skillset and competency.

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, BSc (Hons) Psychology with Counselling and Psychotherapy and Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
