About me
A very warm welcome to you! I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor and I offer counselling outdoors in a beautiful woodland setting easily accessible from Devizes, Westbury and Trowbridge.
You may be struggling with many different thoughts and emotions, or simply not sure how you feel about a particular issue or situation, either current or historical. Looking for support is a courageous step but knowing where to start and finding the right support for your needs can be daunting so I offer a free, no-obligation 15-30 minute discovery call to help you to make an informed choice based on your circumstances and needs.
Counselling outdoors is a nurturing way to explore any situations or problems you are experiencing. There are opportunities to walk, sit still, observe nature or be creative and do not worry about being cold we can even sit around a fire if we choose!
The woodland is accessible from local towns (Devizes, Westbury, Trowbridge area) with plenty of parking, toilet facilities (compost loo) and shelter if needed. The woodland is a vibrant rewilding space used by other professionals and groups.
Drawing on my integrative training and with the support of nature and creativity you are invited to explore all that is happening for you and around you with curiosity to find your authentic path through any difficulties or problems you face. Your needs will be central to our work together, and I offer a non-judgemental, empathic and collaborative way of working.
I have a particular interest in working with issues around relationships, divorce, parent-carer roles, menopause, family dynamics and co-dependency. I offer a discounted space of £35 per 50 min session for clients who are Unpaid Carers and receive Carers allowance or the element in a UC award. Please note that proof will be required and a waiting list may apply.
If working outside in nature is not for you but you resonate with my approach and profile please do get in touch as we may be able to work face-to-face in therapy rooms or even online, I am also interested in working via email if that interests you.
I also offer Single Session Therapy (please see my website for further details).
I am currently embarking on training to lead Forest bathing sessions and have a special discounted offer for two hours of one-to-one glorious forest immersion whilst I am training.
I will be hosting a donations-based weekly spring/summer sober curious circle called Into the Woods. A reflective space for those exploring sobriety/their relationship with alcohol.
Please visit my website for further information or contact me to book a free 15-30 minute discovery call.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
