About me
Throughout my professional journey, I have gained a range of experience of working within various NHS services over the past eight years. I have gained specialist skills in working with psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, emotion regulation, building better interpersonal relationships, self-harm, addictions (gambling and alcohol), bereavement, personality disorder and work related stress. I also have a special interest in Traumatic Births and I have published in the midwifery journal. The title of my publishable piece is called, 'The Journey towards Resilience Following a Traumatic Birth'.
I integrate a number of models within my therapeutic practice such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy. My approach is collaborative and it will be dependent on what you need in that moment.
I would like to invite you into a safe space where you can discuss your struggles. I believe that through the process of therapy, we are able to heal and live a more valued life. We all have the capacity to heal and build our resilience when we feel supported and validated.
I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to give you the opportunity to decide if I am a good fit for you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
