About me
Depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges are common. As a qualified counsellor, I can help you explore your thoughts and feelings, leading to greater self-understanding and effective solutions for life changes or coping strategies. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I provide a non-judgmental and knowledgeable space for discussing LGBTQIA+ issues. I also specialize in gender identity, supporting clients through the complexities of their feelings and experiences. My goal is to help you navigate overwhelming emotions and empower you to live authentically.
I possess extensive experience in the field of identity, with a strong dedication to supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals. I stand in solidarity with those who navigate the complexities of their identities and specialise in providing compassionate and understanding support to assist them on their unique journeys. Additionally, I am committed to refraining from any practices related to conversion therapy.
I have recently qualified in intimate partner relationships/couple’s therapy. This specialisation enables me to assist couples in addressing various topics, including communication styles, attachment issues, infidelity, neurodiversity, gender transition support, as well as polyamorous dynamics and ethical non-monogamous relationships. I am able to adapt my approach to effectively explore these important issues. Relationships play a vital role in our lives. They can be a source of joy, support, and a safe space to truly be ourselves. However, when challenges arise in our relationships, it can affect our overall wellbeing, leading to increased stress and even feelings of anxiety or sadness for many. I am also equipped to provide support to parents or guardians who may be navigating the complexities of a loved one's LGBTQIA+ identity.
