I am a person-centred counsellor (BACP Accredited) and supervisor.  I very much enjoy both strands of my work and I offer a broad base of experience: I have worked with children (play therapy), adolescents and adults;  I am very comfortable with time-limited or medium to long term counselling; I can offer creative ways of working in supervision; I am very experienced in therapeutic small group work; I have my own practice but have also worked within different organisations and the varied demands that brings (e.g. use of CORE or holding team confidentiality).  I have a special interest in bodywork and spirituality.  I am always keen to develop my practice (for example I am trained in Emotion Focused Therapy - Level 3) and I keep abreast of thinking in the counselling world through further training, reading and attending conferences.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
