Supervision details
I provide clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists. I charge £40 for 60 minutes or £60 for 90 minutes. Supervision sessions take place either online over Zoom, or in person at my practice in Hindhead, Surrey.
My focus as a supervisor is on ensuring that you feel fully supported in every aspect of your work. I offer a well-held, boundaried supervision space in which you can reflect on your practice in depth.
Modalities
I work within an integrative framework encompassing person-centred, psychodynamic, existential, cognitive behavioural, and relational transactional analysis modalities.
I am trained in a number of different supervision models (Carroll’s Integrative Model; Wosket & Page’s Cyclical Model; Hawkin & Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model) and, as an integrative practitioner, provide supervision appropriate to your particular way of working.
Practitioner Self-Care
Supervision is an important part of practitioner self-care, and, while the principal aim of our work together is ensuring that you are working safely, ethically and effectively with your clients, I am also interested in your wellbeing. I offer a facilitative, open-minded supervisory relationship in which your confidence and creativity can grow, enabling you to gain greater fulfilment from your work.
Relational Lens
I bring a relational focus to the supervision work and provide an opportunity for us to consider both the conscious and unconscious aspects of your relationship with your clients. We will look at the relational dynamics of the client-therapist-supervisor triad (and the wider context) and explore any parallel processes which may emerge, with implications for practice.
Ethical Practice
I have a solid grounding in professional ethical frameworks (BACP, UKCP etc) and a knowledge of current relevant laws and policies. As such I will support you in resolving any ethical dilemmas which might arise in your client work, in a calm, considered and methodical way.
BACP Accreditation Process
For those wishing to apply for BACP accreditation I can support you through the process with professional and practical guidance.

Background & Qualifications
Since 2006 I have run a busy psychotherapy and supervision practice in Hindhead, Surrey. My approach as a psychotherapist is integrative and my worked is informed by a number of theoretical frameworks: psychodynamic, existential, person-centred, transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural. I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Roehampton University and completed postgraduate training at the Metanoia Institute, London, on the MSc in Relational Transactional Analysis. I hold a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Supervision and engage in regular Continuing Professional Development. Prior to qualifying as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, I worked in business and the arts.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
