Supervision details
I am deeply committed to fostering equity and social justice within my practice. I therefore integrate anti-racist, decolonial, and intercultural frameworks, into clinical interventions, consultations, and supervision. Part of this work is centring safe and meaningful relationships, community inclusion, empowerment, and liberation to bridge longstanding gaps in mental health care.
My experience also extends to organisational development and transformation, where I have leveraged my expertise to foster culturally inclusive work cultures, streamline culturally sensitive services, and strengthen community-stakeholder relationships.
My professional and personal interests reflect my dedication to addressing systemic oppression and inequalities in mental health services by empowering practitioners to work in a way that centres harm reduction, sustainability, community, and healing.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
