I use the 7 eyed model of supervision as outlined by Hawkins and Shohet - and trained in other models however I feel this one suits my working style better.   I'm a nurturing person who will work alongside my supervisees to guide them in whichever area they feel pertinent to them. I have been thankful to have had lots of positive experiences of supervision and have really valued my time with each of my individual supervisors over the years. During my therapist training, I always knew I wanted to become a supervisor so as soon as I was able to I enrolled on a course. I am happy to do a one-to-one to ensure our fitting and to see whether prospective supervisees would be happy working alongside me. All supervision will be carried out either online via video methods or by telephone, whichever way the supervisee is working is generally the way in which to adopt the supervisee relationship.
