I am a Supervisor qualified to Diploma level and with 15 years' experience, my mantra is "If the Counsellor is OK, then the Client is OK".  I use the Page and Woskett Cyclical Model of Supervision, with its stages of Contract, Focus, Space, Bridge and Review.  This ensures we work together in a structured but flexible manner, with a focus on the counselling process and the therapeutic relationship rather than the content of client "stories".  I help supervisees to prepare effectively for sessions so they get the most out of them, and to reflect on and review their work with clients and with me to continually learn and develop their counselling skills and experience.
