  • >Supervisor Anjali Mehta - CBT Therapist specialising in improving mood and self-esteem

As a qualified and accredited CBT Therapist and Clinical Director of my own private practice, I offer supervision for therapists and psychologists who predominantly use CBT when working with children, adolescents and/or adults.

I have almost a decade of experience in mental health, and have offered supervision to high and low intensity CBT practitioners who are either qualified or in training.

I work part time for the University of Reading, where I mainly lecture on the low intensity CBT courses and supervise trainees on the high intensity CBT course.

I have experience in supervising large scale research studies, including the new protocol for adolescent depression called Brief Behavioural Activation, and providing consultancy to universities, other professionals and film directors.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
