Supervision is an important part of being a counsellor, and having benefitted from my own supervision, I decided to train to become one in 2011 through CSTD.   The CSTD model along with my own training in Integrative counselling means that I can offer a supervision relationship which is caring, collaborative, challenging and encourages a supervisee to grow.

Supervision covers many aspects of the profession such as monitoring a supervisees learning and growth, and ensuring the safety of the client and ensuring that ethical standards are maintained. Most counsellors are confident is their abilities with their clients, but often given space to explore what is not being said or exploring a potential parallel process.

I work with a variety of levels of counsellors, from trainees to experienced practioners, and enjoy the exploration of what is going on between the client and counsellor, along with the process that happens between counsellor and supervisor.

With my online and telephone training I am also happy to work with supervisees whose main way of working is this method.

I charge £55 for and hour and £75 for an hour and a half

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
