  • >Supervisor Luisa Sophie Frei - DClinPsych, PhD

I have completed the Generic Supervision Competences training by NES and, in addition to my NHS role, I am keen to offer my skills as a supervisor to psychologists in private practice. I base my supervision on various supervision models and am open to choosing one that fits best to both myself and the supervisee. I value providing a reflective and safe space to allow my supervisees to grow confidence and skills based on their own strengths and priorities.

My own models include primarily CBT, Schema-focussed Therapy and ACT. I am currently working towards accreditation in Schema Therapy, so I cannot provide supervision for your accreditation myself yet. I am, however, open to use the model in discussing your clients as well as helping you identify and work with your own schemas and modes.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
