Art Therapy clinical supervision is one to one for 60 minutes, held at the studio of Stoke Damerel Parish Centre.

This is a space for reflection and in-depth understanding.  We will look into artwork’s unspoken expression, examine relationships, and explore their meanings.

You will be supported in your challenges, in processing countertransference and in finding ways to integrate new ideas into your practice.  Most importantly, supervision is to ensure your safety, ethics, and clinical responsibility.

For group supervision please make an enquiry.

For Counsellors and other professionals, please check your governing body/employer’s supervision requirements.  Some of you may consider Art Therapy supervision as additional support for working more creatively with your clients.  Please bring the artwork (or photos) you would like to discuss.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
