Supervision details
I thoroughly enjoy working as a supervisor. I believe we all have a lot to learn from each other and that supervision is the most valuable form of professional development. My supervision style is adaptive to individual needs. I like to help those that I supervise to feel confident and enthusiastic about attending supervision.
I have been supervising individuals for over 7 years now, including colleagues and students. I also provide psychoeducational supervisions within organisations. I have facilitated individual supervisions as well as groups. I have undertaken Clinical Supervision training with BAAT. I have experience working for multiple organisations and private practice. I have a wealth of knowledge with how to build a private practice, including networking and building partnerships with referral organisations. I also have a specialist interest in organisational dynamics and how this can impact our work as Psychotherapists.
I have experience of working in a Psychiatric hospital, NHS acute wards, NHS eating disorder wards, hospice care, schools, substance abuse organisations, Universities and private practice. I have worked closely with MDTs, social workers, solicitors, insurance companies and more.
I believe my breath and richness of experience contributes to my role as a supervisor. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss moving forward with supervision.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
