Supervisor Vicky Bird - Accredited Counsellor
I believe supervision should offer flexibility, a place where we can discuss your client work, your own personal wellbeing and workload. In the early days of counselling it can help to have support and guidance, celebrating successes and working through any difficult issues, concerns or transference.
Supervision can also be a collaborative creative experience, where together we can discuss your existing good practice and find a way through any difficulties. Its my job as supervisor to encourage, guide and support you to find your own style of working whilst maintaining healthy boundaries.
I offer a safe environment where you can build on your existing skills, enhance your client work, and consider any ethical issues to ensure your working in line with your code of conduct.
Alongside face to face, I have extensive online experience, as both a counsellor and a counselling service manager. I can offer support to those who would like to increase their knowledge and understanding of online counselling and transfer their existing face to face skills.
I am able to offer supervision to experienced counsellors, and trainees working with adults or young people. I am BACP accredited, and my approach is integrative.
Appointments can be a blend of face to face, video or telephone, from my home office in Bishops Waltham. Do contact me via email or telephone if you would like to discuss working together.
Supervision fees are £45 per hour (£67.50 for 1.5 hours)
