My therapeutic training includes – Psychodynamic (Freud, Klein), Attachment and Loss theories (Bowlby, Winnicott), Jung, Person-Centred, TA, Transpersonal, Gestalt, Bereavement & Griefwork (CRUSE training), Trauma work (especially Focusing), Groups, Relaxation & Mindfulness, Art Therapy, Storytelling and more.  I have worked extensively in Refugee & Asylum Seeker Mental Health and using Creative Therapies.  I have completed training in Creative Supervision (Jenny Biancardi, Newcastle) of counsellors, psychotherapists and students.

I enjoy using creative therapies in counselling and supervision such as Art Therapy, Creative Writing, Play Therapy, Focusing, Mindfulness, Relaxation, Storytelling, Chairwork, working with stones and figures, Dreamwork, Life Maps and more.

ETHOS

I believe that insight and support can lead to substantial healing, that a life crisis is not merely a ‘problem to be solved’ but can be a catalyst for growth and change, and that everyone deserves to be treated as a human being, worthy of dignity, respect and unconditional regard.
