Supervisor Julia Brown UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, Supervision Cert

I hold the COSCA certificate in Supervision and have been working as a supervisor for 10 years and am currently studying a Diploma in Supervision.
The important elements of supervision for me are working together in service of the client, the professional development of the supervisee, thinking about the supervisee's self care and paying attention to the supervisory relationship. I am able to offer creative methods in supervision to explore therapeutic issues, using for example sandtray and small objects, painting and drawing and play dough. I particularly like working to the Inskipp and Proctor model of supervision thinking about learning and growth (formative), monitoring best practice(normative) and offering support (restorative).
I am able to offer supervision over FaceTime and Skype.
